I am an interdisciplinary artist with a penchant for precision, repetition, and very particular kinds of garbage. Engaging with themes of trauma and aesthetic beauty, I resurface fragmented architectural trash through various painting processes, both concealing and revealing found object qualities. Once altered, the fragments are held in specific postures by purpose-built wall-mounted armatures, often in relation to a book. These mounted collections function as self-portraits of difficult psychophysiological states of being. By representing complicated parts of myself, I am building a physical map of slippery affectual terrain. By exhibiting this work, I share my map with you.

When something breaks, what do we do with the pieces?
