Shuning is a jewelry and metal art designer. She started to learning in jewerlry and metal arts in 2013 and transfer to industrial design program during the graduate study. Her experiences in the jewelry design helps her to understand how to translate the conceptual design into the real 3d pieces and the study experience in the industrial design help her identified her design direction. Shuning’s vision is to create the practical jewelry product that could suit for people’s needs and to make the jewelry from a luxury item to a practical one. She combined mixed media like resin and acrylic into her work to express the different subjects. Currently she is focus on the smart jewelry, and try to explores what could technology change for the jewelry design.
